Stables and horse care
A stable precinct is more than a row of stalls. Horse care, handling, storage, washing and movement need to make sense together.
How many horses use the property and how are they managed? Describe the daily routine, who handles the horses and the spaces that feel difficult to use.
Consider wash bays, tie-up areas, tack, feed and equipment alongside the stalls. Existing services and storage needs belong in the initial brief.
Share what needs to be retained, reused or replaced. Suitability, availability and maintenance needs should be considered before finishes are chosen.

Discuss an existing propertyShare your priorities and any budget or timing constraints you are comfortable discussing. Scope, specialist input, exclusions and pricing need to be agreed for the actual project.
Discuss the overall projectConsider who will maintain the spaces and what equipment they will use. Ask about care requirements, handover information and any ongoing support when the project scope is discussed.
Ask a project questionThe first conversation
Start with the property, the horses and what you would like to change. Share the locality and a short outline. Plans and photographs may help later, but a finished design is not a condition of making an initial enquiry.
The appropriate next step depends on the project. Any site visit, assessment scope or associated fee will need to be discussed and agreed.
